Follow this guide to craft the Chieftain's Cloak and Brute's Boots for Fai Do in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. Learn where to find materials and how to upgrade them.

Alright, so Fai Do's back again, looking to upgrade his gear. This time, he's after a specific piece of armor and then some boots. It's not too complicated, but you'll need to have done some research and gathered a few things.

First up, Fai Do wants a Chieftain’s Cloak, and it needs to be at least grade 6. To even get started on crafting this, you'll need to have researched Level 4 armor development at your Outfitters. Once that's done, you'll need these materials to craft it:

• Fearless Fear (x3)
• Fine Fut (x2)
• Cloudhaze Cotton (x3)

The cloak can start at grade 4 depending on your research, so you'll likely need to boost it up to grade 6 using two catalysts: Slate-Grey Threads. You can get the furs from your Hunting Lodges, and the Cotton and Thread are best found at the Bazaar. Once you've got everything, craft the cloak, use those Slate-Grey Threads to boost it to grade 6, and then show it off to Fai Do.

Next, Fai Do needs some boots to match the cloak. He's asking for a pair of Brute’s Boots, also at grade 6 or higher. These boots come from Level 3 armor development research. For crafting them, you'll need:

• Knobbly Leather (x2)
• Fine Fur (x2)
• Spiky Bone (x2)

And just like before, you'll need Fearless Furs to use as catalysts to boost their grade. The great thing is, all these materials can be snagged from your Hunting Lodges. So, craft a pair of Brute's Boots, use the Fearless Furs to get them up to grade 6 (or higher!), and then head back to Fai Do. Doing this will finally wrap up this quest for you!
