- 1Speak with Kent, the magical ore analyst, who is located north of the main entrance in Broadleaf.
- 2Learn that a monster stole his memolith containing all of his data.
- 3Travel to the area near Crawlspace Cave, located on the other side of the mountain near Broadleaf. This is the same cave used for Sidequest 037.
- 4Defeat the Tainted Monster, a Level 45 Skrych (Wyvern), which is located near Crawlspace Cave.
- 5Collect Kent's Stolen Memolith after defeating the Skrych.
- 6Return to Kent in Broadleaf with the memolith to complete the quest.

- The Skrych is a large and fast-moving monster, but its attack patterns should be familiar by now.
