162 Tyran's Lament

Need help with Side Quest 162, Tyran's Lament? This guide covers finding Tyran, recruiting his former mates, and bringing them to Evermore.

Alright, so you've gotten another letter from Tyran, but this time it's not good news. Apparently, there's been a coup, and he's no longer the leader of the bandits. He's asked you to come see him, so let's get this done!

Where to go first: You'll need to head to Squeezethrough Grotto. It's located just east of the Forest of Niall. Good news is, you can land your zippelin right there, so no need to worry about your boat!

Once you're inside, chat with Tyran. He'll realize pretty quickly that there's only one true king in the Heartlands – and that's you! He'll then make you a promise: if any of his old crew want to join Evermore, you have to let them. Evan, being Evan, immediately asks Tyran to join the kingdom. However, Tyran's not budging until you find three of his former buddies and convince them to join up.

Finding Tyran's Mates: These three are all hanging out on the overworld map, so no need to delve into any caves. You should see three blue circles pop up on your map:

• One southwest of Ding Dong Dell.
• One near Capstan.
• A third one in the Drylands.

Let's start with the one near Ding Dong Dell. Head towards the area and look for a large cliff that overhangs the zone. You'll find your first bandit chilling at the end of it. Chat with him.

Next up is the bandit near Capstan. Make your way there, and you'll find the second bandit chilling on the beach, just northeast of the town. He's hanging out near some unfinished boats.

Finally, for the third bandit, you'll need to venture into the Drylands. Look for the outer edge of the area, directly east of a spot called “Splitstone Canyon” on your map. He'll be waiting for you there.

After you've had a word with all three of Tyran's former mates, head back to Squeezethrough Grotto and report to Tyran. This will wrap up the quest!
