Walkthrough

    Head to Hydropolis, a little west of the inn.
  2. 2
    Travel to Capaneus’s Crypt on Makronos, located on top of coral platforms in the back.
  3. 3
    From your boat, head up the left path of coral platforms, then cross east.
  4. 4
    Continue north of the Shrine of Pining, then hang west and go north again.
  5. 5
    Find the slightly obscured path to the west which leads to Capaneus’s Crypt.
  6. 6
    Enter the dungeon and head south at the first split.
  7. 7
    Your objective is in the southwest corner of the dungeon.
  8. 8
    Defeat the Tainted Monster, level 34 Scintilla.
  9. 9
    Return to Nereus to finish the quest.
