Follow our walkthrough for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom's 'Thanks for the Memolith' quest. Learn how to navigate Dynafloor No. 1, 2, and 3, activate boilers, and find all the memoliths.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Dynafloor No. 1: Start by heading south from the beginning to find a chest with 5 Steely Nuggets. Use the nearby Trip Door and waystone. Proceed northeast across the blue spot on the map to reach the emergency boiler.
  2. 2
Learn the Kindle spell from Bracken to interact with the boilers. Activate the boiler and then use the consoles (marked on your map as tiny screens) to change the factory's gears.
  3. 3
Start with the console north of the boiler. This will alter platforms. Go back to the path below the boiler, leading southwest, to find enemies guarding a chest with a Strong Sixth Censer.
  4. 4
Between two blue platforms, drop down to a gear with a chest containing Untouchable Brute’s Boots. Drop down again and head north to the Archives.
  5. 5
West of the Archives entrance, defeat enemies to find a chest with Good Ol’ Eggnog. Enter the Archives, and find the memolith on the bookshelf in the back.
  6. 6
Head southeast to Dynafloor No. 2. Follow the path until you encounter a red cog.
  7. 7
After a scene with the boilers, follow the path to a split. Ignore the southwest path and head east/northeast to the marker. Defeat enemies in the area.
  8. 8
Find a chest with 2500 guilders below the blue boiler. Activate the blue boiler and its nearby console to change gears and follow the southeast path.
  9. 9
Defeat enemies in the next area to find the red boiler. Activate the red boiler.
  10. 10
Return to the blue console to reset gears, then head south and west to the red console.
  11. 11
Return to the blue console and activate it again to reach a platform with a treasure chest containing Gutsy Enchanted Armor, two sparkles, and a higgledy stone.
  12. 12
The higgledy stone requires scented sap. After Topturvy the Testy joins you, return to the blue console and use it again.
  13. 13
Go back to the red console area, but instead of using it, follow the southwest path back to the beginning of the floor.
  14. 14
Look north of the southern red console for a red gear. Position it to point south. Jump on it to access the blue switch on the western side.
  15. 15
Use the blue switch to turn the blue cog in the northwest corner to face southeast. Drop down, cross the blue cog, and enter the room with the waystone.
  16. 16
Open the chest on the side for 5 Dark Crystals. Use the waystone to heal and save.
  17. 17
Climb the stairs to the Smartstick Lab to find another memolith.
  18. 18
Head to Dynafloor No. 3. Follow the path southwest to the southern section and climb the stairs to find a chest with Songbook No. 16.
  19. 19
Go back down and continue west. At the split, take the stairs down to the central section. Clear enemies and find a chest with Four-Leafed Soreaway on the northern side.
  20. 20
Return to the main section and head north. A scene will occur at a large door that requires all three lights above it to be lit to open.
