The Imprisoner flies in a cauldron with its arms locked. Since most of its attacks negate your combos, it is recommended to let it initiate and then counter.

The easiest attack to counter is the lasers; simply jump over them and combo for some decent damage, then slide out into safety.

The Iron Imprisoner's melee attack can be blocked and countered to get more damage.

Avoid its fiery spinning move and underground explosion attacks completely. Dodge these with Slide, Dodge Roll, or Cartwheel and wait for the Iron Imprisoner to use easier attacks to counter.
