    Upon arriving in the Land of Dragons, open the three [CHESTS] in the initial area: [DARK SHARD] (1/13), [ETHER] (2/13), and [MYTHRIL SHARD] (3/13).

    There is a Save Point and Moogle Shop available.

    Head to the Encampment to trigger a scene and a battle.

    After the battle, you will receive the [ENCAMPMENT AREA MAP] and be tasked with several missions, starting with the Surprise Attack (Nightwalkers and Shadows) and the Ambush.
Tips
  • Use Duel Stance on Samurai for one-hit KOs.
  • Spam Blizzard to push back Dusks and Creepers.
  • Level up Valor Form to Lv 3 to learn High Jump Lv 2, which helps in obtaining [HEART #6].
  • If you need to refill your Drive Gauge, fight in the Borough, return to a Save Point, and head to the World Map before it depletes.
  • Guard against Nightwalker attacks to avoid damage.
  • Guard against Assault Rider attacks to create opportunities for counter-attacks. Avoid jumping directly at Assault Riders during their windmill attack.

Enemy Details:

  • Nightwalker: HP: 34, Experience: 24, Drops: Dark Stone (10%), Energy Shard (4%). Hovers and uses ghost-fire for long-range attacks. Close-range attacks include a two-handed clawing attack, an aerial charge with a tailspin, and a low spinning slash. All can be guarded against. Found only in the Land of Dragons.
  • Assault Rider: HP: 85, Experience: 40, Drops: Dark Stone (12%), Serenity Shard (4%). Tough Heartless that can deal significant damage and deplete the Morale Gauge. Constantly Guard to counter. Attacks include a large slash, a lengthy jab, a windmill, a charging assault, and a frontal explosion. The thrust attack is easiest to defend and leaves the Assault Rider open. Avoid jumping directly at them during the windmill attack.
