    After the opening scene, loot the POISON and PAYBACK SURGE from chests.

    Enter the Cottage and grab an ATTACK RECIPE from another chest.

    Go south to the Deep Woods and find three chests containing a POTION, ETHER, and HI-POTION.

    Proceed to the Flower Glade to find a chest with a HUNGRY CRYSTAL and the world's Prize Pods.

    In the Courtyard, open four chests to get the DWARF WOODLANDS MAP, PICNIC BASKET STICKER, FLEETING CRYSTAL, and a POTION. The FISSION FIRAGA is inaccessible at this time.

    Enter the Underground Waterway. Hit the first wheel and dash through the gate to fight Unversed and loot a chest for a SHIMMERING CRYSTAL.

    Hit the next switch, jump down, and grab a chest for a FLEETING CRYSTAL.

    Dash to the far chest for a FIRE.

    Move to the Vault. Use the Fire command to light the furnace and access chests containing a BALLOON LETTER, POTION, MAGNET, and SHIMMERING CRYSTAL. The BUBBLE STICKER is out of reach.

Strategy:

  • The Spirit of the Magic Mirror uses illusions. Guard against Fireball attacks with Barrier.
  • Dodge White Fireball attacks as they cause Confusion.
  • During Reflection, the boss creates copies; identify the real one by its wry smile (vs. a menacing glare). Dodge the line of copies and their Fireball attacks.
  • Sidestep is a quick side-to-side attack leaving a reflection.
  • Dash attacks are useful for closing distance, and ranged magic is effective.
  • Focus on avoiding damage during Reflection until the real boss is revealed, then go on the offensive.
