Night Raid

Your guide to the Night Raid quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Learn about essential gear, stealth tactics, and how to escort Lord Capon to safety.

Alright, so you're gearing up for the 'Night Raid' mission in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Before you even think about talking to Captain Robard, you absolutely need to sort out your gear. We're talking about stuff that's dark, light, and quiet. Anything with a high visibility or noise rating is going to get you spotted, and that's the last thing you want on a stealth mission.

If you don't already have suitable gear, your best bet is to hit up the Armourer, Tailor, and Cobbler in Rattay or Sasau. They'll have what you need. Alternatively, if you're feeling a bit more hands-on, you can always go hunt down some bandits and loot their gear. Just make sure what you find fits the bill.

If you're buying, here's a solid loadout to aim for:

• Quiet dark shoes
• Hunter’s gloves
• Dark Saxon gambeson
• Short dark waffenrock

Legwear can be a bit trickier to find. Your best bet is to check with the Miller, or keep an eye out for black or brown hose on fallen bandits.

Once you're kitted out and feel ready, head over to Sir Robard in the camp near the Talmberg quarry. He's the one who'll kick things off.

You'll be heading towards the walls of Talmberg with Lord Capon. When you get close to the ladder, hang back and wait for the guards to move up first. Your job is to take out the sentries on the walls. Once you get the signal, it's your cue to climb that ladder. As soon as you're on top, listen to what the guard tells you, then immediately turn left to deal with the sentries there. Be quick and quiet about it!

The key here is timing. Wait until the sentry on the right is walking towards the stairs. That's your window to get in close and stealthily take out both of them. Don't mess this up, or you'll have a much harder time.

After dealing with the sentries, follow Lord Capon towards the lodgings. Keep yourself crouched the entire time and make absolutely no unnecessary noise. Any sound could alert the guards.

Your next objective is to find the villagers in the sleeping quarters and ask them about Lady Stephanie and Sir Radzig. They're the ones who know where to find them.

Once you've spoken with the villagers, you'll need to consult with Lord Capon on the next steps. No matter what you decide, things are about to get complicated. Lord Capon is going to get shot, and you'll have to carry him out of there. So, be prepared for that.

Your final task is to carry Lord Capon to the castle walls and make your escape before the guards catch you. The quickest way to the walls is often via the stairs near the main gate. Just keep moving and don't get caught!
