Follow our Homecoming walkthrough for Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Find Henry's parents, collect Shard, Bianca's ring, and bury your parents in Skalitz.
Walkthrough
- 1Head toward Skalitz. Loot fallen villagers for valuables like food, Groschen, bandages, and weapons.
- 2Be prepared to fight bandits who may be looting corpses along the road.
- 3If bandits surrender, you can choose to let them go or take their loot. This choice has no major impact on Henry's character development, but letting them go may mean losing valuable items.
- 4Upon reaching Skalitz, the southern gate is destroyed and blocked by rubble. Follow the path to the right and head toward the northern gate.
- 5Enter through the northern gate and pick up the sword Shard from the dead Baliff.
- 6Walk further into Skalitz and inspect Bianca's body near the tavern to retrieve her ring and a Saviour Schnapps potion.
- 7Head up the path to where your parents were last seen and find them lying dead. A cutscene will play.
- 8To bury your parents, find a shovel. Head back toward the northern gate and follow the sound of a dog barking. Keep to the left.
- 9A cutscene will play with Zvyshek attempting to loot the butcher's corpse, protected by his dog. Exhaust dialogue options with Zvyshek, intimidate him, or beat him in a fist fight until he flees.
- 10Return to the butcher and his dog to find the spade. Pick it up.
- 11Head back to the village center and go to your old house near the castle to prepare the grave for your parents under the Linden tree.
- 12As you begin to dig, a cutscene will initiate, leading you back to your parents.
- 13The cutscene will end with Zvyshek returning with a group of bandits and their leader, Runt.
- 14Runt will demand Sir Radzig’s sword. You will have to fight him.
- 15Theresa and Sir Robard will rescue you, ending the chapter. Theresa will take Henry to Rattay by horse and carriage.
Tips
- Looting fallen villagers and corpses is not essential to the quest but can provide useful resources.
- If you defeat bandits without a killing blow, they may surrender or flee. Your response to a surrender is a role-playing choice.
- If you defeat Zvyshek in a fist fight, he will flee, allowing you to retrieve the spade.
