Ace your Grand Theft Auto VI Golf and Tennis challenges! Learn the best techniques for parring the course and winning matches to boost your completion percentage.

Alright, let's dive into Part 88 of our Grand Theft Auto VI guide. We've got some fun activities that are actually required for that sweet 100% completion: Golf and Tennis. These are also great ways to boost your Strength skill, though if you've been using the Bus Stomping trick, you might already have that maxed out!

Golf

First up is Golf. This course is only open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and will cost you $100 to play. You can go solo or bring up to three friends along. It's a nine-hole course, and you'll need to hit par or better on each hole to count towards your completion percentage. Finishing a round also unlocks new challengers.

The controls are pretty simple once you get the hang of them. You'll see a gauge on the right side of your screen. To swing, pull back on the Left Analog Stick, then quickly push it forward when you hit the yellow sweet spot on the gauge. Adding spin is done by moving the stick left or right while the gauge is active. Don't forget to account for the wind when aiming – use the Right Analog Stick for that. You can see your aiming line and where the ball will go by looking at the hole outline on the left.

When you're putting, a grid will show you the course's contour, helping you adjust your swing. Honestly, getting par isn't too tough, even on your first try. Once you complete a round, you'll get the Golf Club added to your Weapon Wheel.

Tennis

Tennis offers a bit more flexibility than Golf, with multiple courts available, including at your safehouses. The game gives you straightforward instructions, but here's the gist: use the Left Analog Stick to swing, and the face buttons let you add different types of spins. You can choose how many games you want to play and how tough you want your opponent to be.

For a quick completion boost, I'd recommend setting it to just one game with an easy opponent. The main strategy is to get your opponent moving to one side of the court and then hit the ball to the opposite, open side. It's not super difficult, but it might take a few tries to get used to the controls and the general flow of the game. Plus, you'll snag $12 for winning!

Random Events (Part Two)

As you're progressing, you'll unlock a new Random Event that can only be done by Michael or Trevor: Gang Intimidation.

Gang Intimidation

Location: El Burro Heights, southwest corner of Fudge Lane and El Rancho Blvd. (Map: E-5).

How to do it: You'll see a woman on the corner asking for help with a domestic dispute. Pull out a weapon, preferably an SMG or assault rifle, and follow her. She'll lead you to a yard where three guys will jump over a fence to ambush you. Take them all down to complete the event. You won't get any special reward, just the cash they drop.

Main Story - Michael De Santa

After wrapping up those activities, it's time to jump back into the main story with Michael. The mission is called "Father/Son".

Father/Son

Overview: Franklin visits Michael at his mansion. After a chat, Michael heads out to get Franklin that beer he promised. But then, Jimmy calls with some urgent news: he was trying to sell Michael's boat, thinking his dad didn't want it anymore, and the buyers stole it! Michael needs to rescue his son and the boat, and Franklin tags along to help.

Starting the Mission: You'll start with a Pistol. You can also initiate this mission as Franklin, but you'll miss out on some cool stuff happening at the house.

The Plan: Hop into Amanda's car and follow the GPS trail to find the boat. Once you spot it, get behind it and stick close as it speeds away. You need to get right up on it so Franklin can board it.
