Learn about Ammu-Nation stores, weapon upgrades like Extended Clips, and how to max ammo in Grand Theft Auto VI. Available after 'Minor Turbulence'.
Walkthrough
- 1Visit any of the eleven Ammu-Nation stores marked on your in-game map (minimap (the small circular map in the bottom-left corner of your screen)) to purchase weapons, ammunition, and clothing.
- 2Note that only a limited selection of weapons is available at the start; others unlock as you progress through the Main Story (story missions).
- 3Special weapons may be available through downloads, indicated on a dedicated wall within Ammu-Nation.
- 4Purchase Body Armor from Ammu-Nation to increase your survivability.
- 5You can buy Parachutes, but this is only possible after completing the mission "Minor Turbulence".
- 6To increase the maximum ammunition capacity for your weapons (up to 9,999 rounds for most firearms), you must max out your Shooting Skill. This also improves weapon accuracy and power.
- 7When buying ammo, you can choose to buy a single clip (ammunition holder) at a time or purchase enough to max out your ammo capacity for that weapon class in one go.
- 8Maxing out ammo for one weapon in a class (e.g., Pistol) will also max out ammo for all other weapons in that same class (e.g., all other Pistols), with the exception of MG guns within the Machine Gun class.
