Alright, let's talk about the Starlet Motel in Grand Theft Auto VI. You'll find this place in Port Gellhorn, which is in Kelly County, over in Leonida. It's popped up in a few places, so it seems pretty important. First Sightings and Leaks We first got a peek at the Starlet Motel through some leaked clips from September 2022. One clip showed the inside of a room, which looks like it could be a safehouse, with Lucia and Jason hanging out. You also saw the parking lot and the front office. Another clip featured the outdoor pool area during a debug test, with Jason, Wyman, and another character we don't know the name of yet having a chat. Official Appearances Later on, the motel's interior made its official debut in the first trailer for GTA VI, showing Lucia and Jason in bed in that same room from the leaks. It also showed up in the second trailer, an official screenshot of Port Gellhorn, and some official artwork. Real-World Inspiration It looks like the Starlet Motel is inspired by a few different motels in Florida. It's pretty similar to the old Economy Inn in Lawtey, especially the front office. That place was torn down in 2021 after a fire. The sign, the colors (blue and red), and the general layout also kind of remind people of the Dixie Motel in Hilliard.
