    • Rinoa must be in your party.

    Avoid acquiring the Odin GF before Disc 4. If Odin is acquired, do not complete Lunatic Pandora, as the Giglamesh GF will join you, preventing Angelo Search.

    Prepare stocks of Confuse, and optionally LV Up (for low-level players) and LV Down (to avoid XP gain).

    Ensure one character has a low Strength stat by unjunctioning magic from Strength and unequipping Str+60% if necessary.

    Targeting Turtapods:
    • Turtapods are the ideal enemies for this grind and can be found in the city of Esthar on the world map (not within the city itself).

    If encountered with an Imp, defeat the Imp first. Use LV Down if you wish to minimize XP gain.

    If the Turtapod is Level 30 or higher (use LV Up if your party's levels are low), it will defend when attacked.

    Cast Confusion on the Turtapod. If it fails, try again. You can use Cure/Cura/Curaga to heal the Turtapod if needed.

    Once Confused and defending, the Turtapod will remain passive, allowing Angelo Search to trigger during idle time.

    • Leave the game running. Angelo Search will trigger periodically, with Angelo digging for items.
