Shumi Village

Ultima Draw Point: Enter the dome and talk to the three Shumi guarding the draw point. It costs 5,000G per draw and is an excellent source for Ultima spells. It's recommended to boost Magic and draw here, especially if you have abilities from Tonberry. The draw point recharges after a set number of steps; you can farm it by running in circles on the world map for about 5 minutes.

Triple Triad Rules: You can play cards with the central Shumi tribesman. The village uses the Trabia region's rules, which include Random and Plus. It's advised to abolish the Random rule first by using Balamb rules before spreading Open.

The Sculptor's Quest: After exploring the village, head to the screen with the pond. Enter the house on the left and find a statue of Laguna. Talk to the Sculptor, who will then refer you to the Elder. After speaking with the Elder, return to the Sculptor to begin his quest.

Stone Locations: The Sculptor will ask you to find five stones within Shumi Village. Return to him after finding each one to receive the next assignment. The stones are located as follows:

• Blue Stone: Search the wall to the left of the Laguna statue.

Wind Stone: In the screen with the elevator, search the rocks between the two houses on the right.

Life Stone: In the screen with the Elder's house, search the roots of the tree on the right side of the cliff.

Shadow Stone: Ride the elevator up to the screen with the Ultima draw point and search the shadows in the upper right, near the steps.

Water Stone: Search the pond near the frog.
