Episode 1: Walkthrough

Dried Up Wasteland: This is a tutorial stage introducing the battle system, Base Panel deployment, attacking, combos, and Team Attacks. After the tutorial, you will battle two Lv. 1 Fighters and two Lv. 1 Fury Fatalists. Killia starts at level 3.

Character Creation: After the first battle, you must create at least one new character by talking to the Recruiter. You need HL (the game's currency) to create characters. It is recommended to create a Witch/Magician for elemental spells and a Cleric/Clergy for healing and the Espoir spell. When choosing capability, avoid 'Good-for-Nothing' as it deducts five stat points. Equip your new recruits.

Shriveled Vein: This stage tutorial introduces Lifting and Throwing. The battle involves two Lv. 1 Fury Fatalists, two Lv. 1 Fighters, and one Lv. 2 Logan. The Fighters and Fury Fatalists have ranged weapons. Seraphina can snipe a Fighter on a ledge from a barrel. Your other units can engage the remaining enemies.

Arid Blood Zone: This battle features seven enemies: two Lv. 2 Imps, four Lv. 2 Petite Orcs, and one Lv. 2 Healer. Focus on the Orcs and Imp near your Base Panel first, then move to the upper-left. The Healer only has staff attacks. Be aware of the Imps' Fire spell.

Immovable Atrium: This stage introduces Evilities, passive skills. You'll fight five Lv. 3 Petite Orcs, one Lv. 3 Lady Fighter, and two Lv. 2 Imps. Enemies are slightly higher level. Use your Healer/Cleric to mend wounds. The Lady Fighter has a bow, but other enemies are familiar.

Sterile Atrium: This battle teaches Revenge Mode and Overload Skills. Enemies include five Lv. 4 Petite Orcs, two Lv. 4 Imps, one Lv. 4 Fighter, and one neutral Lv. 5 Red Magnus. Revenge Mode fills as you take damage or allies die, granting 100% critical rate, 1 SP cost for skills, and reduced damage taken. Overlords can use Overloads in Revenge Mode. Red Magnus is in Revenge Mode and has activated his Overload, Super Olympia. He is neutral and will attack anyone nearby.
