Alright, so you wanna add the Prince of Darkness himself, Laharl, to your crew in Disgaea 5? He's a DLC character, so you'll need to grab that extra content first. Once you've got the DLC installed, you'll need to clear out three specific maps called The Legend Begins. Knock those out, and Laharl will join your party!

Laharl's pretty solid, not gonna lie. His biggest strength is definitely his ATK, so he's a good candidate for using Swords or Axes, which he's got an 'A' mastery in. He's decent with Fists too, but his Speed isn't the highest, which is a bummer for that weapon type. His unique Evility, Overlord’s Dignity, is pretty cool early on – it boosts his stats for every enemy he defeats. It's a nice boost while you're going through the main story, but don't expect it to be super useful in the endgame when you've got other Evilities that give you massive stat boosts.

Overload

• Strong Personality — This one takes up 3 slots and boosts the damage of unique skills by 20%. Pretty handy if you're using a lot of those!
• Gaze of Supremacy — Also takes 3 slots. If an enemy's HP is below 50%, you'll take 30% less damage from them. Good for surviving tough hits, especially during the main story.
• Legendary Strength — This one's interesting. It takes 3 slots and boosts your ATK by 50% while lowering DEF by 50% if you're the only ally on the map. This could be amazing with something like Loner Power!
