Alright, so you're looking to snag those shiny secret achievements in Dark Souls II, huh? These are the ones that don't pop up just by playing normally, but they're totally doable without pulling your hair out. Let's break 'em down so you can show off your completionist skills.

King's Ring (20G/Silver)

This one's pretty straightforward. You'll get the King's Ring after you've taken down Velstadt, The Royal Aegis in the Undead Crypt. Just head into the room behind him, and you'll find King Vendrick chilling there. He won't attack you unless you hit him first, so just grab the ring and then decide if you want to take him on. Honestly, this achievement is unmissable – you'll stumble right into it.

Ancient Dragon (20G/Silver)

To get the Ashen Mist Heart, which unlocks this achievement, you'll need the King's Ring first. Head back to the Ruined Fork Road Bonfire in the Shaded Woods. From there, push through the middle opening, and you'll find a gate that requires the King's Ring to open. This path leads to Aldia's Keep, and then you'll make your way to the Dragon Aerie and eventually the Dragon Shrine. At the very end of the Dragon Shrine, you'll chat with the Ancient Dragon. They'll give you the Ashen Mist Heart, and boom – achievement unlocked! You don't actually have to fight the Ancient Dragon, but if you do, it makes the Vendrick fight way easier. Just remember to grab the Heart before you decide to attack him.

The Heir (100G/Gold)

This is the big one, folks – seeing the game's ending! You'll bag this achievement once you've defeated Nashandra, the final boss, and watched the credits roll. After that, you can either go back and mop up anything you missed or jump straight into New Game Plus. If you decide to stick around in your current playthrough, you can select NG+ from the Majula bonfire.

Last Giant (10G/Bronze)

This is likely going to be your very first secret achievement. The Last Giant is a boss you'll find in the Forest of Fallen Giants. He's pretty hard to miss as you progress through that area, so just keep exploring and you'll run into him.
