The Last Giant / Giant Lord

You'll find the Last Giant in the Forest of Fallen Giants. This colossal foe is the sole survivor of the Cardinal Tower siege and represents the broken remnants of the Giant Lord who once ravaged Drangleic. Though an unnamed hero eventually defeated the Giants, the kingdom was already in ruins. The Giant Lord's body was then dragged beneath the stronghold and sealed away.

As seasons passed, the Giant prepared for his final rest, as fallen Giants are said to grow into great trees, continuing a cycle of regeneration. However, the Giant Lord's soul remained magnificent, a testament to his former power. It's speculated that the Giants' deep-seated resentment for King Vendrick, perhaps fueled by the king's misdeeds and the loss of a prized possession, prevented him from finding peace in death. This burning hatred might also be directed at the warrior who defeated him.

When you finally confront him, the Giant Lord recognizes you, and his rage becomes uncontrollable, allowing him to break free from his restraints. This final battle showcases the sheer determination of the race that once laid waste to Drangleic. Be warned, he's so driven by his rage that he'll even tear off his own arm if it means gaining an advantage over you.

The Giant Lord was the king of all Giants. After his kingdom was invaded by King Vendrick, influenced by Nashandra, the Giant Lord retaliated by invading Drangleic to avenge his losses and reclaim what Vendrick had stolen. This war, fueled by an iron will, lasted for generations and devastated Drangleic.
