The Last Giant / Giant Lord

Found in the Forest of Fallen Giants, the Last Giant is the final surviving Giant, a remnant of the Cardinal Tower siege. He is the broken form of the Giant Lord who once devastated Drangleic. Though an unnamed hero eventually defeated the Giants, Drangleic was already in ruins. The Giant Lord's remains were hidden away beneath the stronghold.

As seasons passed, the Giant prepared for his final rest, as fallen Giants grow into trees, symbolizing a cycle of regeneration. However, the Giant Lord's soul remained powerful, hinting at his past might. It's speculated that the Giants' resentment towards King Vendrick, and the theft of a prize, fueled their invasion of Drangleic. This burning hatred might be why the Giant Lord lingered long after his defeat, perhaps even directed at the warrior who bested him.

When you encounter him, the Giant Lord recognizes you, and his rage becomes uncontrollable, allowing him to break free. This final confrontation showcases the determination of his race, as he's willing to tear off his own arm for an advantage.

The Giant Lord led the Giants' invasion of Drangleic after King Vendrick, influenced by Nashandra, attacked their kingdom and stole a prize. This war, lasting generations, laid waste to Drangleic.
