The Heirs to the Sun is a faction that boosts co-operative play within Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. When you work with other players to defeat the boss of an area while you are a member of this faction, both you and your ally will be rewarded with a Sunlight Medal. It is important to note that your friend does not need to be a member of the Heirs to the Sun Covenant to receive this reward.
