Complete the Chapel Threshold area in Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, finding a new Bonfire and useful items like Titanite Chunks.
Walkthrough
- 1After defeating the Prowling Magus, go through the door on the other side of the room, then through the opening on your right.
- 2Continue around the narrow corner to find and light a new Bonfire.
- 3Go downstairs and look beneath the stairs at the bottom to find a Soul of a Proud Knight.
- 4Proceed through the next door ahead.
- 5Smash all the pottery in the next room to obtain two Wilted Dusk Herbs.
- 6Go upstairs. Equip a ranged weapon if possible to make it easier to kill the spider ahead and below.
- 7Walk towards the wooden arch and slither down the rope.
- 8Turn left and walk into the room at the end of the path.
- 9Warning: A spider will attack if you open the door to the side-room.
- 10Go to the other side of the room and smash everything to find three Charcoal Pine Resin.
- 11If you haven't already, break through a wall to expose an opening on one side of the room, then go through the gap into a new area.
- 12Open the door on your left to pick up a Torch.
- 13Go through the next door. Kill the enemy and grab the Titanite Chunk to your left.
- 14Continue in the opposite direction and kill the next monster with a ranged weapon, or jump down and use melee attacks. Killing from range is preferable as you will return to this lower room later.
- 15Return to the room with ropes and continue to the end of the path.
- 16Slither down the next rope, kill the spider and the mage, then head right and walk down the corridor.
- 17In the room ahead, kill the two mages.
- 18Eliminate the spider on the ceiling using a ranged weapon.
- 19Collect the four Lightning Urns in the corner.
- 20Exit through the door and go down the ladder.
- 21Kill the spider that falls from the ceiling and the one approaching from the left.
- 22Light the new Bonfire you find.
- 23Proceed through the nearby door.
Tips
- Equipping a ranged weapon before going upstairs can help deal with the spider.
- It is better to kill the enemy in the lower room from range if possible.
