The Smelter Demon is a construct made entirely of iron, animated by an unknown force. Its body is composed of iron, with the exception of a hollow portion of its chest that reveals a core of flames. This fiery core is its most notable feature.

According to lore, the Smelter Demon was the entity responsible for the downfall of the Iron Keep and the demise of its ruler, the Iron King. Its actions led to the destruction and abandonment of the Iron Keep.
