Alright, so you've taken down that pesky Pursuer! Good job. Now, let's get you to the Lost Bastille. Head through the gap in the rocks right in front of you, then take the stairs all the way up on your right. See that bird's nest nearby? Interact with it, and it'll whisk you away to the Lost Bastille. Once you arrive, make sure to light the Bonfire – you'll want a safe spot to rest. Then, follow the path, using the broken stone to hop over the ledge. If you sneak around the other side of this structure, you can snag a Large Titanite Shard and a Radiant Lifegem. Don't miss 'em!

Back on the main path, use that broken stone again to reach the balcony. There's an enemy waiting for you up there, so take care of them. Then, head through the door. Down below, you'll spot a crossbow-wielding enemy and a dog. If you can, pick them off from a distance – it's much safer. If you get up close, watch out for those explosive barrels nearby; they can really mess you up. Once they're both down, go through the next door and open the chest. Inside, you'll find the Covetous Silver Serpent Ring and the Antiquated Key. Nice!

Head back into the other room and look for a ladder ahead and to your left. Climb up that, leave the room, and get onto the main path to your left. Keep going down this path until you see some barrels and boxes. Give 'em a good roll to smash them up and reveal a hidden door. Open it up, and you'll find Lucatiel waiting for you. Chat with her for a Human Effigy.

Now, you've got a choice. You can push forward through the door and fight everything in your path – it's tough, but totally doable. Or, if you're feeling a bit overwhelmed or just want to take a different route, you can use a Homeward Bone to warp back to the last Bonfire and head to Majula. From there, you can take the path through Heide's Tower of Flame and No-Man's Wharf. It's up to you how you want to proceed!
