This section covers three weapons in Battlefield Hardline: the MP7, the FN57 pistol, and the RO933 .300 BLK carbine. The Blackout expansion is not required to access these weapons.

MP7

Summary: The MP7 features a high fire-rate similar to its BF4 iteration but suffers from low damage, making it less competitive in Hardline's SMG category. With a 20-round magazine and tight hipfire spread, it excels in close quarters. It offers a full range of attachments, unlike older models, making it a viable alternative to other primary weapons if engagement ranges are kept short.

Trivia: Developed by HK, the MP7 was designed to meet NATO's PDW requirements and entered production in 2001. It uses a novel high-velocity, armor-piercing ammunition and accepts 20, 30, or 40-round magazines.

FN57 Pistol

Summary: The FN57 provides a longer-range sidearm option compared to machine pistols and a faster fire-rate than heavy pistols. It retains its 455 RPM fire-rate and 20-round magazine from BF4, with fast reloads and minimal horizontal recoil. While it fires faster than most Operator pistols, it deals less damage per shot, requiring four hits to kill. It's a good choice if you prefer higher fire-rates and larger magazine capacities over raw damage.

Patched: Metallic camos were initially available by default but were fixed in the November 2015 update.

Trivia: Developed alongside the P90, the FN Five-seveN entered production in 1998. Its 5.7mm rounds are designed to penetrate body armor and cause significant damage. It's used by over 300 agencies worldwide, including the US Secret Service.

RO933 .300 BLK Carbine

1. Get 10 kills with the standard RO933 carbine on the Night Job map.
2. Get 10 kills with the standard RO933 carbine on the Night Woods map.

The RO933 .300 BLK carbine was added with the free Blackout expansion. Both free night maps are part of the standard map rotation, but can also be accessed via the Server Browser.
