Summary: The criminals' machine-pistol fires at two-thirds the rate of the G18 but has higher damage at all ranges and a long four-hit kill (out to 28 meters). It has the same 20-round magazine capacity as the 93R and high recoil, but not as much as the G18.

Trivia: The TEC9 fires on full auto in Battlefield Hardline, suggesting it might actually be a converted KG9 or an original MP9. A community mission in mid-October 2015 offered a gold Battlepack for getting twenty kills with the TEC9.

MAC10

Requirements for 'Professional Assignment 1':

• Requires Professional Bronze Service Star 2 (20,000 XP with class).
• Get 10 sniper rifle kills.
• Get 5 kills with laser tripmines.

Requirements for 'Professional Assignment 2':

• Requires Professional Bronze Service Star 7 (70,000 XP with class).
• Requires Professional Assignment 1.
• Get 25 sniper rifle kills.
• Get 5 Camera Coins (get 2 camera assists in one match for each).

Summary: The MAC10 is devastating at short range with the fourth fastest rate of fire in the game. Its theoretical minimum Time To Kill (TTK) is just over a fifth of a second. It fires the same .45 ACP load as the UMP45 and K10, but its damage profile has been reduced to limit its Damage Per Second (DPS). The default magazine capacity is only 15 rounds, and reload times are slow. It has high vertical and horizontal recoil, a higher first-shot recoil multiplier, the worst aimed accuracy of all sidearms, and poor spread increase per shot (SIPS).

Default Attachments: The MAC10 comes equipped with the suppressor and stock.

Patched: In the Robbery update on 16 September 2015, the MAC10's maximum damage was increased from 23 to 24, and its minimum damage was reduced from 14.5 to 12.0. This matches the G18 and 93R, although the MAC10's damage drop-off still starts earlier and ends later.

Trivia: The compact MAC10 (Military Armament Corporation M10) was designed by Gordon B. Ingram for covert operations and saw service with Navy SEALs in the Vietnam War. It was in production from 1970 to 1973. The game models it authentically with a long chunky suppressor and folding wire stock.
