M/45

Summary: The M/45 fires at 600 RPM, offering a three-hit kill. With the introduction of "9mm Heavy" ammunition, it has a longer drop-off range. It features good reload times and recoil stats, though it has a prominent pull to the right during sustained fire. The weapon is modelled authentically with a 600 RPM fire-rate and a 36-round magazine, and includes a semi-automatic fire mode not present in the real weapon.

Patched: Following the February beta, the UMP45 was moved to criminals and the M/45 to cops. In the 16 June patch, the M/45 and Uzi received a major buff, with minimum damage raised from 12 to 18 and drop-off range extended from 8-20 to 20-35 metres. In the 1 March 2016 update, minimum damage for the M/45, Uzi, M12S, and UMP9 was reduced from 18 to 16.

Trivia: The Kpist m/45 was manufactured by Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori in Sweden and entered service in 1945. "Kpist" is Swedish for "submachinegun". It was widely used by US special forces and the CIA during the Vietnam War, earning the nickname "Swedish K".

Uzi

Summary: The Uzi is the counterpart to the M/45, sharing the same rate of fire and damage profile but with significantly less recoil, tighter hipfire, and slightly faster reloads. It has a smaller 32-round magazine and high spread increase (SIPS) stats, making a stubby grip attachment recommended. Unlike the real weapon, Hardline's Uzi only fires on full auto. It cannot use the PSO1 4x scope.

Patched: Several stat changes were applied on PC during the February 2015 beta, including a substantial buff to the Uzi's recoil and accuracy. In the 16 June patch, the M/45 and Uzi received a major buff, with minimum damage raised from 12 to 18 and drop-off range extended from 8-20 to 20-35 metres.
