The timer activated in the previous section is not necessarily a death sentence. However, before proceeding, players have the opportunity to hunt the Wanted Monster Grovis. This is the only chance to defeat him. The timer pauses when the game is paused or a menu is open.
MANDATORY PATH: #6 + #9 + #10
GROVIS PATH: #6 + #8 + Mandatory Path. This path also contains treasures: [Magic Apple], [Palo's Nut], and [ShineGrizzle Fang]. Upon reaching the submarine dock, all allies escape. The author reached it with 3:21 remaining on the clock.
After liberating the continent, the party returns to the Silver Noah. Two new continents, Amigue and Balbalard, become available for exploration. Before venturing to these new areas, several optional tasks can be undertaken:

MUHAD
Muhad is the only town in its country. It features a shop [SH19] selling a Sawed Off Shotgun for Shu. Currently, there are no jobs available in Muhad or Morea's guilds. However, all remaining wanted monsters in the game can be defeated before proceeding to the Pyramid. These include:

A job that affects Balbalard has been available for some time but cannot be completed until after the Pyramid events due to current or upcoming circumstances.
AMIGUE SEALED RUINS [OPTIONAL]
These ruins are accessible now. The northern ruins of this country can be reached if all previous sealed ruins (except Zariban/Balbalard) have had their power units collected. Specifically, Brakia's sealed ruins must be cleared to open Amigue's sealed ruins.

Mutant Flies are undead and frequently use Lv2 Dark Breath. They may drop Whisper Tonics, which inflict MAG Down. Arch Gargoyles have strong magic attacks but use spears (FlameTridents) to mitigate most counterattacks. As usual, each floor contains seven enemies.

A healing point is located on B2, after the battle.
Chests in the B1/B3 areas are in separate locations and require flying enemies to access both. On B2, three chests are only obtainable by reaching a remote location and jumping obstacles. To do this, leave one Mutant Fly alive, reduce its HP to one, and maneuver around the area. Gogen's Teleport skill can be helpful, but flying allies are generally more effective. Using Lv3 Ravish on a weakened Arch Gargoyle is recommended, as they can become strong allies after Mother Claire's influence (hint: transform them into King Gargoyles and equip a scythe like the Double Moon).
