Part 10

After arriving in Indigos, seek refuge in Shu's apartment. Elc is on his own to find Lado, the doctor. Saving is possible on the table. Elc can nap on the couch for recovering.

Exit to the city street. Check out the store and buy a few Herbs.

Visit the Indigos Hunter Guild (building with a panther silhouette on a bulletin board). Talk with the dispatcher about Lado's whereabouts. The dispatcher rebuffs Elc, but a nearby Hunter directs Elc to the tavern north of the guild.

Go to the tavern. A man is leaving; the bartender says he was the doctor and he headed for Ruin Town.

Exit onto the world map and travel to the crumbled city of Ruin Town.

You will encounter Lv ?? Leland. Do not bother with Fire Storm as it will do little damage. Let him approach you (move one space right) and counterattack him, then deal the coup de grace. Leland flees and has no spoils, but he is a wanted monster later on.

Return to Shu's Apartment in Indigos. Lieza and Paundit rejoin the party. Lieza's equipment: [Dagger+0, Gauze Wrap, Chaos Herb]. Paundit's initial equipment: [Metal Fang].

Elc can now recover in the bed. Exit into town and visit the guild. You can now read wanted posters to gain information on monsters.

The four-eyed dispatcher has a job for Elc that pays nothing but must be accepted.

After accepting the job, a battle will commence in an alley with Lv 03 Phantasm, Lv 03 Elemental, and Lv 04 Witch Doctor. The alley is four spaces wide. Lure the enemies toward the dead end. When any of them die (2-hit KO for all), one of the floating enemies will respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) toward the start. After approximately 6 turns, the battle will automatically conclude.

Shante will introduce herself and offer to sell information on pursuers for 1500G.

Return to the apartment. Shu will join permanently. His initial equipment: [Cloth Shoes 4/12, 4/7; Gauze Wrap 1/10, 3/6].

To earn 1500G for Shante's fee, complete jobs available at the guild, including wanted monsters. Bounties on fugitive monsters are lost if not read on the guild bulletin board. Not all jobs are available at once. Available jobs include: Wanted Monster: Aju, Wanted Monster: Shamus, Job: Indigos Sewer Research, Job: Ghost House Ruin Town, Job: Indigos Jewely Robbery, Job: Barns' Lost Dog.

After collecting 1500G, talk with the bartender and return to Shu's house until nightfall. Return under the cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) of darkness for a battle against Lv 12 Gulnag and Lv 10 Robber [4]. The Robbers can do around 8-10 damage apiece but have low defense. Use the bar's surroundings to protect your back and sides. Sometimes Robbers use Charge to raise their attack. Send Paundit to attack the southern monster and everyone else north. You can steal a Spirit Seed.

When Gulnag is dying, it mentions going to the next location.
