How to Beat Boss: The Librarian

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Weakness: Fire attacks.
• Resistances: Ice attacks.
• Vulnerable to: Stuns.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: The Librarian attacks with a rapid volley of magic missiles and a sweeping laser beam.
2. Phase 2: The Librarian summons spectral hands that swipe at the player and continues its projectile attacks.
3. Phase 3: The Librarian unleashes a powerful area-of-effect blast and summons more aggressive spectral hands.

Strategy:

• Use the pillars in the arena for cover against the magic missiles.
• Dodge roll through the laser beam and the spectral hand swipes.
• When the Librarian is charging its area-of-effect blast, get as far away as possible.
• Use fire-based attacks or bombs when the Librarian is stunned or recovering from an attack.
• The Magic Dagger can freeze the Librarian, leaving it open for attack.
• The Gun is effective for dealing damage from a distance, especially when the Librarian is stationary.
• Conserve your MP for when you need to use the Magic Dagger or Gun.
