Tips
  • The new healing items are useful. MP regeneration and Red Talismans are generally sufficient for MP healing.
  • For tough single enemies or groups, consider setting all characters to manual to play defensively.
  • For one-on-one fights, use long-range attacks or find safe openings for short-range attacks using Homing or Thunder Flare.
  • For multiple enemies, frequent character switching and micro-management are necessary.
  • Consider creating elemental weapons to exploit enemy weaknesses; mechanical enemies are weak to Water.
  • If you are not keeping Peppita, create a Philosopher's Stone (12) at the workshop before she leaves.
  • The Incapacitators provide good experience points and are an efficient way to level up in Disc 2.
  • The Proclaimer's unblockable attack can deal about 600 pod per hit; No Guard should help if you have 9000 HP.
  • If direct attacks fail against the Proclaimer, try sniping with Aiming Device or exploiting its elemental weakness with Nel's Fuujin or Raikou, or Albel's Kuuhazan.
  • The Proclaimer's Dark Sphere, used above 80% health, covers a large area and causes Instant Death; its success rate is affected by level difference.
  • Divine Wave, used above 80% and below 40% health, is slow and blockable.
