Navigate the Airyglyph Dungeon in Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Learn boss strategies for the Inquisitor and Giant Crab, and find key items like the Worm-Eaten Tome.
- Nel Lv3
- Default (Nel): Baselards (Unique), Ring Mail (6 SP)
Walkthrough
- 1In the Airyglyph Dungeon, disable Nel's Fire Bolt, Healing, and any other spells she learns. Spells consume Fury, and failure occurs if Fury is insufficient.
- 2Boss: Inquisitor (1300 HP, 40 MP) with 2× Airyglyph Soldiers. Consider MP kills with Aerial and/or Blazing Sword. You can safely hit the Inquisitor in the back when he uses his unblockable attack.
- 3Proceed north past the second save point to trigger Scene033.
- 4Boss: (3500 HP, 80 MP, Weak to Fire) with 55 xp. Go for an MP kill with Blazing Sword (or Aerial if unavailable). Set other characters to manual (R2) and keep them away or use one as a shield.
- 5Exit the aqueducts to reach the Royal City of Airyglyph (Scene035).
Airyglyph Aqueducts Details:
- Items: Worm-Eaten Tome (Artifact), Warrior's Bracelet, Blueberries, Fresh Sage, Ring Mail, Blueberries.

- A recovery panel that fully heals you is available.
- The ladder in the third area is difficult to see; run against it to use it.
- Utilize the Warrior's Bracelet (ATP +20, ATP +5%).
- Avoid using Blade of Fury, Sphere of Might, or Shockwave as they are cancel fodder; normal attacks are sufficient.
- Many enemies are weak to Fire, but Blazing Sword can drain MP quickly.
- Fight Skeleton Soldiers until you obtain at least one Regeneration Symbol (accessory that regenerates 3% MP every 5 seconds and increases DFP by 6). With the Osprey Dagger from town, you can quickly defeat enemies with Nel's long-range dive bomb attack (boosted by IHPD) with minimal risk of losing the bonus.
- If not controlling Nel, keep her on Manual and away from the action for support with Healing. Nel has a long flinching time and is susceptible to magic attract. Use the Loose Line formation so Nel starts in the corner.
- Consider using the Guard formation and controlling Nel, focusing on Fayt only after he learns Shotgun Blast.
- Use sidestepping to avoid damage from physical attacks and counter auras.
- Boost Fayt and Cliff's MP to Lv5 before focusing on HP. Do not invest SP in Defense.
- Use a Slime to achieve consecutive block Battle Trophies (BTs). Block all 16 hits from Bio-Bullet by turning off your counter aura and removing other characters from the active party.
- Hold Cancel to walk and avoid slipping on ice.
