This guide covers the Poke Spots feature in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, explaining how to attract wild Pokémon, the different types of Pokémon found at each spot, and the rewards for capturing specific rare Pokémon.
Walkthrough
- 1Obtain Poke Snacks from Duking (10 initially).
- 2Place Poke Snacks on the plate at a Poke Spot.
- 3Leave the Poke Spot and wait for a wild Pokémon to appear.
- 4Use the Spot Monitor to be alerted when a Pokémon arrives.
- 5Go to the Poke Spot quickly before the Pokémon eats all the snacks and flees.
- 6The rarity of a Pokémon is indicated by the Spot Monitor's signal speed: slow signals mean Common, fast signals mean Rare/Super Rare.
- 7More Poke Snacks increase the duration a Pokémon stays, making it easier to catch.
- 8Additional Poke Snacks can be purchased from most Poke Marts after ONBS is liberated.

- Duking can be found in his house in Pyrite Town after ONBS is liberated; it's marked by a 'G' on the outside, with an open door leading to a cave.
- Herbal medicines can now be bought from the herbalist after her Munchlax no longer blocks the way.
