So, you've made it to Gateon Port! As you're exploring, Jovi's gonna spot the Parts Shop and run towards it, but oops! She bumps into this real jerk named Zook. He gets all mad about his hair and threatens Jovi with his Shadow Zangoose. But then, he spots you and decides you're a better target. Lucky for you, Mr. Verich and his goons show up and one of them, Ardos, has an Alakazam that just *poofs* Zook's Zangoose right out of existence. Phew!

After Verich and his crew peace out, head left. You'll meet Jovi's friend Emili and her mom Acri on the way to the Parts Shop. Go on in and chat with the sailor inside. He's watching the shop for Perr, who's busy fixing those rotating bridges. After hearing his story, he'll let you pick one of five special items that can evolve your Eevee! You can get an item to evolve it into an Espeon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Umbreon, or Flareon.

Here's the lowdown on how those evolutions work:

• Water Stone: Evolves Eevee into Vaporeon.
• Thunderstone: Evolves Eevee into Jolteon.
• Fire Stone: Evolves Eevee into Flareon.
• Moon Shard: Evolves Eevee into Umbreon.
• Sun Shard: Evolves Eevee into Espeon.

You can use the Stones (Water, Thunder, Fire) to evolve Eevee right away. For Umbreon and Espeon, your Eevee needs to be happy. The good news is your Eevee starts with max happiness, so as long as it gains a level after you get it, it'll evolve into either Umbreon or Espeon!
