Finding Elekid

Alright, so you're looking to add Elekid to your team in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness? That's a solid choice! Elekid is a cool Electric-type Pokémon that can evolve into the powerful Electabuzz and eventually the formidable Electivire.

Where to Find Elekid

You'll be able to snag an Elekid relatively early in the game. Head over to the Agate Village. Specifically, you'll find Elekid in the grassy areas around the village. Keep your eyes peeled and be ready for a battle!

Catching Elekid

When you encounter an Elekid, remember that it's a wild Pokémon. You'll want to weaken it first without knocking it out, of course. Use moves that don't deal too much damage, and then toss a Poké Ball. Don't get discouraged if it takes a few tries; that's part of the fun!

Evolution

Elekid evolves into Electabuzz when it reaches Level 30. Then, Electabuzz can evolve into Electivire if it levels up while holding an Electirizer item. You'll need to keep an eye out for that item later in the game.
