Complete walkthrough for Ula'ula Meadow in Pokémon Sun and Moon, including trainer battles, item locations, and Pokémon encounters. Find Zygarde Cells and TMs.

Ula'ula Meadow is a secluded area connecting Route 16 and Route 17. You can access it via the north-west exit of Route 16. Upon entering, you'll encounter a Golfer who serves as the area's boss trainer. It's recommended to return after defeating other trainers in the area.

Pokémon Encounters in Ula'ula Meadow:

  • Ledian (Bug/Flying) - Red flowers (20%, Day only)
  • Ariados (Bug/Poison) - Red flowers (20%, Night only)
  • Cottonee (Grass/Fairy) - Red flowers (30%, Sun only)
  • Petilil (Grass) - Red flowers (30%, Moon only)
  • Oricorio (Baile Style) (Fire/Flying) - Red flowers (20%)
  • Ribombee (Bug/Fairy) - Red flowers (30%)

Start by walking along the boardwalk. As it turns north-east, find a Photo Spot in the center. Near the corner, you'll find a Zygarde Cell (55). Continue north. To the east, a side path circles back to the main boardwalk.

Follow this side path to the east-most edge to find a trainer admiring the scenery.

Leafeon34Grass

Torkoal's Drought ability boosts Fire-type moves and weakens Water-type moves. Counter this with your own weather effects or use Ground and Rock-types against it.

Seaking's Water-type moves are weakened by the sun. Use Grass or Electric-types, or Solar Beam/Solar Blade.

Leafeon can be defeated with Fire-type moves if the sun is out. Flying, Poison, Bug, and Ice-types are also effective.

Back on the central boardwalk, above the lower eastward paths, a staircase leads to an area with red flowers. A dancer is located here.

Oricorio (Baile Style)34Fire/Flying

This Oricorio is native to Ula'ula Island. Its Fire/Flying typing is weak to Rock-type moves. Electric and Water-types are also good options.

In this area, a sparkling spot in the north-west corner may yield Red Nectar. Feeding Red Nectar to your Oricorio can change it to Baile Style, but it's generally considered the weakest form.

East of Mirielle, after the red flowers, a Repeat Ball is on the boardwalk. Return to the central boardwalk and continue north.

Before crossing to the other side, take the west side path to find Lass Rylee.

Sneasel33Dark/Ice
Komala34Normal

Sneasel is weak to Fighting-type moves (4x damage) and also takes 2x damage from Fire, Rock, Steel, Bug, and Fairy-type moves.

Komala is always asleep, so status ailments are ineffective. Fighting-types are recommended. Ghost-types can exploit their immunity to Normal-type moves. Be wary of its Sucker Punch.

West of Rylee, a slope leads to tall grass. In the south of this area, you'll find an X Sp. Def. Return to the central boardwalk and take the steps leading west.

In the middle of the red flowers in this area, another sparkling spot may yield Red Nectar. Further west, where the red flowers end, is an Adrenaline Orb.

At the end of the boardwalk, the exit to Route 17 is ahead. To the east, past the boardwalk, is a row of tall grass in the north-east corner.

After passing through the tall grass, retrieve the Zygarde Cell (56) near the north edge. Continue north-east to the exit. Along the way, you'll encounter an Ace Trainer.

Lake of the Sunne/Moone

This is an optional side area. From the entrance, head north across a stone bridge to the ruins. In the north-east corner, find TM03 Psyshock.

You can continue north to the endpoint of this area. Once you've explored, exit back to Ula'ula Meadow. Return to the entrance to challenge Golfer Dean.
