Walkthrough

    Upon entering Melemele Meadow, head west to find Lillie. She will ask you to retrieve Cosmog from the far end of the meadow.

    Follow the high path south to find a Great Ball next to a rock in the corner.

    Head north towards a rock surrounded by yellow flowers and inspect its left side to find Honey.

    Proceed west through the yellow flowers. When you reach the next slope, do not ascend it yet.

    Instead, head south. Position yourself directly south of the item on the northern outcrop, then move halfway between the outcrop and the wall below to find a hidden Honey.

    Continue west and you may find a hidden gap in the cliff wall leading to Seaward Cave. This area is not accessible for exploration at this time due to the lack of water traversal abilities.

    Return to the slope and climb it to higher ground.

    At the outcrop's edge, collect the Net Ball.

    Follow the higher ground north. Near a male tourist, jump over the ledge into the flowers to the left. Search the left side of the large rock immediately to your right for more Honey.

    Run south-west through the flowers and ascend the slope at the far end. Cosmog will be near your arrival point.

    Optionally, run past Cosmog into the flowers to its south to find a hidden Poison Barb along the west side.

    To the east of Cosmog is a path back towards the entrance. A Photo Spot is located further south for Poke Finder use.

    Return to Cosmog and interact with it to complete the mission. You will automatically return to the entrance where Lillie will heal your Pokemon team.

    You will then be taken outside to Route 3 for a battle against Hau.

Hau Battle:

  1. Hau's Pokemon team consists of Pikachu (Level 13) and either Popplio (Level 14, if you chose Rowlet), Rowlet (Level 14, if you chose Litten), or Litten (Level 14, if you chose Popplio).
  2. If you caught a Diglett, it can be effective against Pikachu.
  3. Popplio can be countered by Oricorio, Cottonee, or Petilil.
  4. Rowlet can be defeated by Growlithe or Oricorio.
  5. Litten is weak against Wingull or Slowpoke.
Tips
  • Use a Repel to avoid wild Pokemon encounters while searching for hidden items, especially when looking for the second Honey.
  • The Seaward Cave entrance is easily missed and requires water traversal abilities to fully explore later in the game.
  • Hau's team is relatively small, making him an easy opponent given your larger potential party size.
  • Your Pokemon will be fully healed before the battle with Hau.
