Discover how to earn Festival Coins (FC) in Pokémon Sun and Moon through battles, trades, trainer interactions, and participating in missions within Festival Plaza.

Festival Coins (FC) are a currency used in Festival Plaza. Here are several ways to earn them:

• Battle or Trade: After a battle or trade, trainers you interacted with may appear in your Castle. Talking to them can yield around 5 FC. Frequent battlers and traders, especially those who use Wonder Trade, should check their Castle regularly.
• Listen to Whispers: Online trainers may appear on your Castle road with a red-tinted speech bubble containing specific statements. Successfully responding to their requests can earn you 2 to 10+ FC.
• Statements & Actions:
• Battle! Battle!: Accept to have a "battle" of stats (people met, trades done).
• Do you know how I feel?: Direct the trainer to a random shop.
• Do you understand?: Accept to have a "battle" of stats.
• Do you want to know a secret?: Listen to the trainer talk about themselves.
• I’m hungry.: Direct the trainer to a cafe or restaurant.
• I want my Pokemon to play.: Direct the trainer to a Bouncy House or Haunted House facility.
• I want to be excited.: Direct the trainer to a Bouncy House, Haunted House, or Lottery facility.
• I want to make my Pokemon happy.: Direct the trainer to a cafe/restaurant, Bouncy House, or Haunted House facility.
• I want to meet! I want to meet!: Accept to have a "battle" of stats.
• I want to see great moves!: Direct to a cafe/restaurant, Bouncy House, or Dye Shop facility.
• I want to shop.: Direct to a store facility.
• I want to treat myself!: Direct to a store, Fortune Teller, or Lottery facility.
• Listen! Listen!: Accept to listen to the trainer talk about themselves.
• Tell me! Tell me!: Answer their question about you.
• Participate in Missions: Players can initiate missions with varying numbers of participants. Your individual contribution and the group score affect the FC earned, potentially up to 50+ FC per mission. Mission types include quizzes and social interactions. New missions may appear as you progress in the main campaign.
• Global Missions: These are released by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo, allowing any active player to join. They run for a set duration and can award thousands of FC if difficult objectives are completed.
