Paniola Town

You'll encounter your rival, Hau, in Paniola Town. He has evolved his starter Pokémon.

Hau's Pokémon levels: Pikachu (16), and his starter (17) which will be Brionne (Water) if you picked Rowlet, Dartrix (Grass/Flying) if you picked Litten, or Torracat (Fire) if you picked Popplio.

Be cautious of Hau's starter, as it is equipped with Normalium Z and can use Breakneck Blitz. However, since it uses Tackle or Scratch, the damage won't be extreme.

Defeat Hau's Pokémon by hitting them hard with your own starter and using Potions if necessary.

After the battle, Hau will give you a Dire Hit. Keep this for the next Totem Pokémon battle.

Head to the Pokémon Center in the north-east of Paniola Town. Your party will be fully healed automatically.

Visit the Poke Marts within the Pokémon Center to stock up on supplies. If you have enough money (1,000 Poke Dollars), the right clerk sells Repeat Balls, Timer Balls, and Net Balls.

Go to the building west of the Pokémon Center. Head to the back and go upstairs.

On the top floor, proceed to the end of the corridor where Magmar are gathered.

Speak to the Magmar on the right at the end of the corridor to receive a free Quick Ball.

You can explore the rooms on the left if you wish.

Exit Paniola Town by heading north along the road west from the Pokémon Center.
