Tips
- Wela Volcano Park is the site of the 3rd trial, a Fire-type trial. You can catch Pokémon freely before triggering the trial.
- Sightseer Mariah's Meowth knows Fake Out, which can cause flinching. Use Protect if needed.
- Ace Trainer Jim is weak to Dark, Bug, Ghost, and Steel types.
- Hiker Calhoun's Roggenrola is weak to Grass, Water, Fighting, Steel, and Ground types. His Machop is weak to Psychic, Flying, and Fairy types.
- Hiker David's Magmar is weak to Water, Rock, and Ground types. Be cautious of its Flame Body ability, which can burn on contact.
- For the Totem Salazzle battle, Pokémon strong against Fire-types (Water, Ground, Rock) are recommended.
- Totem Salazzle has a Special Defence boost at the start and can summon Salandit.
- Salazzle's Corrosion Ability allows it to poison even Poison and Steel-types with Toxic. It also uses Flame Burst and Venoshock (strong against poisoned Pokémon).
- Be aware of Salazzle's Taunt, which can prevent status moves.
