Learn how to defeat Trainers Dexio and Sina in Pokémon Sun and Moon, including their Pokémon's types, levels, and weaknesses. Get tips for Heahea City!
Alright, welcome to Heahea City! Before we get too deep into exploring, we've got a couple of trainers to deal with. Depending on which version you're playing, you'll face either Dexio in Sun or Sina in Moon. Don't worry, they're not too tough if you know what you're up against!
Trainer Dexio (Pokémon Sun):
| Pokemon | Level | Type |
| Slowpoke | 15 | Water/Psychic |
| Espeon | 16 | Psychic |
For Dexio, his Slowpoke is pretty easy to handle. You'll want to use Grass, Electric, Bug, Ghost, or Dark-type moves to take it down quickly. Espeon is also weak to Dark-types, and Bug and Ghost types work well too, just make sure they aren't also Poison-type!
Trainer Sina (Pokémon Moon):
| Pokemon | Level | Type |
| Delibird | 15 | Ice/Flying |
| Glaceon | 16 | Ice |
Sina's Delibird is mostly a pushover, but Fire, Electric, Steel, or Rock-types will make short work of it. Glaceon is a bit more of a challenge, but Fire, Fighting, Steel, or Rock Pokémon should have no problem defeating it.
After you beat them, you'll get a really cool item: the Zygarde Cube! This is super important because it lets you collect Zygarde Cores and Cells all over the Alola region. If you collect enough, you can actually build the legendary Pokémon Zygarde. Pretty neat, huh?
You might have noticed some Zygarde Cells on Melemele Island earlier that you couldn't pick up. Now you can go back and grab those! It's a bit of a scavenger hunt, but we'll help you find them all.
For now, though, let's keep moving forward. Head past the water fountain to find the Tide Song Hotel. Go inside and make your way to the top-left corner of the hotel. Look for a sparkling green object above a dancer – that's a Zygarde Cell! Grab it!
After that, head to the right side of the hotel, near the reception desk, and you'll find Lillie. Chat with her, and then it's time to head out. You can go east from the water fountain to Route 4, or if you're feeling like hunting for more Zygarde Cells, you can head back to Melemele Island. The choice is yours!
