Walkthrough
- 1Head to Solaceon Town and find the building next to the Pokémon Center.
- 2Speak to the man at the desk. He'll ask you to bring him a specific Pokémon from the Sinnoh Dex.
- 3You'll have until 11:59 PM that same day to bring him the requested Pokémon. Make sure you check which one he wants!
- 4Once you bring him the correct Pokémon, he'll reward you with one random Pokeball (from a selection of available balls) and a Heartscale.
Tips
- This is a daily task, so you can do it once every day!
- The man will only ask for Pokémon that are part of the Sinnoh Dex. You won't get National Dex Pokémon for this.
- He used to give out 3 random Pokeballs in previous games, but in Platinum, it's just one. Still a nice bonus, though!
- Want to try and get specific Pokeballs? You can save your game right before you turn in the Pokémon. If you don't like the Pokeball he gives you, just reset your game and try again! He'll offer a different one each time you reload. This is a great way to stock up on useful balls like Dusk Balls, Ultra Balls, or Timer Balls.
- You can also try saving before you talk to him the first time each day. This might let you influence which Pokémon he asks for, though it's not guaranteed.
- Just a heads-up: you can't get special balls like Park Balls, Master Balls, or Cherish Balls from him.
