Alright, so you've been adventuring through Sinnoh and maybe you've got a Pokémon with a nickname you're not thrilled with anymore, or perhaps you've got a move that's just taking up valuable space. Maybe you even want to teach a Pokémon a move it missed out on! Don't worry, there are special NPCs who can help with all of that. It can be a bit tricky to remember where they all are, so let's make sure you know exactly where to go.

The Name Rater is your go-to if you want to change a Pokémon's nickname. He's an older gentleman who hangs out in Eterna City. Specifically, you'll find him in the apartment complex there, usually on the first floor. Just remember, he can only rename Pokémon that you caught yourself – traded Pokémon keep their original nicknames.

Next up is the Move Deleter. This guy is super handy for getting rid of any move your Pokémon knows, even those pesky HMs that you might not need anymore once you've used them. You'll need to head over to Canalave City for this one. Look for a house there; he's waiting inside to help you clear out your Pokémon's move list.

Finally, if you want to teach your Pokémon a move it could have learned earlier but missed out on, you'll need the Move Teacher. He's located in Pastoria City, in a house right in the middle of town. The catch? He requires a Heart Scale to teach these special moves. You can find Heart Scales in a couple of ways: they have a 50% chance of appearing on wild Luvdisc you encounter after getting the National Pokédex, or you can dig them up in the Underground. Plus, there's a daily sidequest in Solaceon Town that can net you one. Check your Pokédex for details on which moves are available!
