    After defeating Volkner, head to the northmost part of Sunyshore City and talk to Jasmine on the beach to receive HM07 Waterfall.

    Ensure you have Pokémon that know Strength, Surf, Rock Smash, and Waterfall. Consider bringing Repels.

    Head north of Sunyshore City and surf forward onto Route 223.

    Route 223 is a straightforward path with trainers and wild Pokémon. Continue north until you reach a small landmass.

    Head left around the landmass until you can surf north again.

    You will eventually reach a waterfall that requires HM07 Waterfall to climb.

    Once on the other side of the waterfall, heal your Pokémon at the Pokémon Center.

  • Volkner's Pokémon are all Electric-type and weak to Ground-type attacks.
  • Jolteon is very fast but primarily uses Electric attacks.

  • Electivire is the strongest at Lv 50 and knows Thunderpunch and Fire Punch. Fire Punch is not very effective against Torterra.
