Alright, so you need Coral for your potions? No worries, it's not as tricky as it sounds! You can actually find Coral all over the place, specifically at the bottom of the ocean in any realm. Don't freak out about needing to swim deep, though – you can't actually go underwater in Nightingale right now. The easiest way to snag some is to just head to the edge of the map in your current realm. Pick a direction, travel to the coast, and start walking along the shoreline. You'll find Coral pretty quickly. Even though it looks like it's out of reach, just look down and press the interact button (it's the default one, usually just 'E' on PC) and you'll grab it. Easy peasy!

Just a heads-up, moving through the water slows you down a ton and drains your stamina. If your stamina hits zero, your health starts dropping, and well, you don't want to die over a bit of Coral, right?

The Forest Abeyance Realm is a fantastic spot for Fleshy Coral because the ocean pretty much surrounds the whole map. So, just swim out a little, look down, and you'll see tons of it!

If you're just grabbing a few pieces, a quick dip and grab is fine. But if you're planning a big Coral haul, I've got a couple of tips: first, eat some food that boosts your stamina – you'll need it. Second, consider using a Minor Amphibious Realm Card. It makes you swim faster and even helps you regain stamina while you're in the water, which is a lifesaver for this task.

Different Coral Types

Right now, there are two types of Coral: Fleshy Coral and Skeletal Coral. Both are super important for crafting healing potions, but they do have slightly different perks. Fleshy Coral gives you a 20% boost to Rain and Fire Resistance, while Skeletal Coral offers a 20% Stealth bonus. You'll generally find Fleshy Coral in Forest Biomes (though it can pop up elsewhere too, Forest is just the easiest), and Skeletal Coral tends to show up in Swamps and Deserts. Honestly, finding Skeletal Coral can be a bit of a luck of the draw with how the realms are generated.

What is Coral Used For?

The main reason you'll be hunting for Coral is for crafting early to mid-game potions. Specifically, you'll need it for the Slight and Moderate Healing Potions. Both recipes require one piece of Coral and an Alchemical Boiler.

• Slight Health Potion Recipe: You'll need a Simple Alchemical Boiler (grab this from a Swamp Astrolabe Trader), 5x Essence Dust, 1x Coral, 1x Bones, and 1x Glass.
• Moderate Health Potion Recipe: For this one, you'll need a Refined Alchemical Boiler (found at a Swamp Provisioner Trader), 50x Essence Dust, 1x Coral, 1x Bones, and 1x Colourful Glass.

The best part? Each time you craft these, you get five potions, which is a pretty sweet deal for keeping yourself topped up!
