Craft Etched Alloy Ingots in Nightingale

The term "Etched Alloy Ingot" doesn't appear directly in the Brazier of Blacksmith's Hearth recipe list. Instead, you need to identify which ingots qualify as alloy ingots. An alloy ingot is simply the result of combining two different ore types.

Brass and Bronze Ingots

Once you have the Blacksmith's Hearth, you'll find recipes for two types of alloy ingots:

Brass Ingot: Requires x2 Copper Ore and x2 Zinc Ore.
Bronze Ingot: Requires x2 Copper Ore and x2 Tin Ore.

Both Brass and Bronze Ingots are considered alloys because their creation involves two distinct ore types. The easiest one to produce depends on your current exploration progress and ore reserves. Copper Ore is essential for both recipes and is most commonly found in Desert biomes with a Realm Power between 1 and 99. If you struggle to find Copper Ore in Desert realms, check caves, which are often visible on mountain sides.

After gathering sufficient Copper Ore, decide whether to craft Brass or Bronze ingots. Zinc ore, needed for Brass Ingots, is abundant in Swamp biomes with a Realm Power between 0 and 49. Tin Ore, required for Bronze Ingots, is plentiful in Forest biomes, also with a Realm Power between 0 and 49. Both Swamp and Forest biomes often yield ore near coasts or other large bodies of water.

To craft a Brass Ingot, combine x2 Copper Ore with x2 Zinc Ore. For a Bronze Ingot, combine x2 Copper Ore with x2 Tin Ore. Once you have an adequate supply of Zinc or Tin ore (aim for an amount equivalent to your Copper), return to your base. At the Blacksmith's Hearth, find the Brass and Bronze Ingot recipes. Craft your preferred ingot, then locate the Etched Ingot recipe. You will then be able to produce Etched Ingot (Brass) or Etched Ingot (Bronze). Despite the absence of "alloy" in their names, these ingots count towards the Etched Alloy Ingot requirement.

With these steps, you can now craft the necessary Etched Alloy Ingots for tier 3 crafting stations and other recipes that require them.
