You'll likely already have a Refined Mortar Station set up by the time you need this. If not, you'll need to grab that recipe from an Essence Trader in a Provisioner or Astrolabe realm.

Step 1: Craft Refined Pigment

Once your Refined Mortar Station is ready, you'll see recipes for Refined Pigment, Alchemical Ink, and Vibrant Ink. Start with Refined Pigment. The cool thing is, you can use pretty much any basic resource you've gathered – think meat, berries, flowers. Just explore a bit, grab some common stuff, and bring it back. If you're ever unsure, just gather more basic ingredients!

Step 2: Craft Alchemical Ink

Now, to make Refined Pigment, you'll need to pop at least two of those basic ingredients into the Refined Mortar Station. You're going to need a total of 12 Ink (Alchemical Ink counts!) for the final Vibrant Ink recipe, so gather up a good amount. Besides your basic materials, you'll also need Glass. You can craft Glass at the Brazier station, and for that, you'll need Raw Gems. Luckily, Raw Gems are pretty common mined materials found in almost any realm, including your home Abeyance realm.

Step 3: Craft Vibrant Ink

You're almost there! After making Alchemical Ink with Refined Pigment and Glass, the last piece of the puzzle is Gunpowder. You can craft Gunpowder at the Refined Masonry Bench using Sulphur and Coal. If you're short on those, don't sweat it. Essence Traders, especially in Desert realms, often sell Gunpowder directly. Alternatively, you can get it by taking down humanoid enemies in Desert regions – they have a pretty good chance of dropping it.
