Alright, so you need Fen Bass Oil for Ludivine, huh? It sounds a bit tricky, but don't worry, I'll walk you through it. You'll need to catch some Fen Bass first, and then turn them into oil.

Where to Find Fen Bass:

You can snag Fen Bass in any T1 Swamp Realm, but the Antiquarian Swamp is a good bet. Just look for pools of water that are deep enough. How do you know if it's deep enough? Wade into it! If you start getting diseased, bingo, it's deep enough. If not, just keep casting your fishing rod in different spots until you find a good one. It doesn't have to be the ocean or anything fancy, regular swamp water works just fine.

You'll probably see a lot of Redeye Bass – those are super common. If you catch one and it's not what you're after, just press your fishing rod hotkey to cast again super quickly. The Fen Bass is a bit rarer, maybe one in every six catches. We also noticed they seemed to spawn less often at night, so your best bet is to fish during the day.

Just a heads-up, you'll need 16 Fen Bass in total because four of them make two oils, and you need eight oils. So yeah, it can be a bit of a grind since they're semi-rare.

Fen Bass Fishing Tips:

• Gear Up: Make sure you have at least a Simple Fishing Rod upgraded to level 40+. Fen Bass are level 30, and a lower gear score will make it way harder to reel them in.
• Stamina Food: Before you start fishing, eat some food that boosts your stamina. Running out of stamina is a common reason you might fail to catch a fish, or the line could break.
• Charm of Endless Fishing: If you can craft this, definitely use it! It stops you from getting tired or hungry while fishing, making the whole process much smoother.
• Realm Cards: For an even easier time, craft the Angler and Amphibious Minor Cards in the realm. The Angler card boosts your Fishing Skill, gives you more fish, and even hides you from threats.

How to Make Fen Bass Oil:

Once you've wrangled those 16 Fen Bass, it's time to make the oil. You'll need a Refined Tanning Station for this. You can buy one from the Forest or Swamp Herbarium Essence Trader, or sometimes find them from Hope Echoes in those same realms.

With the Refined Tanning Station built, scroll down to the oil section. You'll see an empty slot – just interact with it and select your Fen Bass. Remember, two Fen Bass will give you one oil, and you need eight total.
