Tips

Pause the game as the symbols appear to give yourself time to figure out the puzzle.
The Control Stick (used to select robots) defaults to the center robot.
Use logic: If you see the correct symbol, the other two must be smashed. No thinking is required as the robot's guesses appear in random order.
Play Level 2 several times without using pause to become familiar with the shape set; this makes the experiment much simpler. Do not save your progress afterwards.
When shapes rotate, the correct robot will rotate in the same direction and at the same angle as the given shape. This is particularly important with checker shapes.
