Walkthrough: Dragon Temple - Corridor

  1. The first area is open with many enemies. Most can be defeated on the field, but the Manjula is tougher.
  2. If you have the side quest 'A Guiding Gift', the first Polar Stone is on the right before the Manjulas.
  3. On the southern side of the central pillar, find a Scintillating Marble.
  4. Head to the western side. Clear enemies near breakable vases to find Spirit Dust.
  5. Continue north. The Manjula is weak to Strike and Ice. Use Brawler attacks if you have one. Be cautious as they can poison and paralyze you.
  6. A Gold Elmenta is also present, but it's tricky to get due to other enemies.
  7. Near the northern exit, find Graced Water by the rubble.
  8. Take the northern exit to the Labyrinthine Path.

Walkthrough: Dragon Temple - Labyrinthine Path

  1. This area is structured like a maze; attempting to use certain stairs will result in a foggy screen and teleportation back to the start/checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death).
  2. Navigation Method 1 (Tedious): Try every set of stairs; if the screen doesn't turn foggy, it's the correct path.
  3. Navigation Method 2 (Fae Sight): Use Fae Sight (R2/RT). Stairs with unlit torches are incorrect. Stairs with lit torches are correct.
  4. Navigation Method 3 (Ceiling Markings): Look up at the ceiling for a highlighted line indicating the correct path. This line guides you throughout most of the area.
  5. There is one secret path in the southeastern corner not marked by the ceiling line.
  6. Enemies here are Spellwrought Gargostas and Spektos of Lament.
  7. Spektos of Lament often explode when hit on the field, making ambushing them difficult. It's often best to let them explode.
  8. Spellwrought Gargostas are hidden, appearing like normal gargoyles. Use Fae Sight to see a white outline on them. You can often avoid them by hugging the opposite side of their location.
  9. Monuments throughout the area provide hints for navigation.
  10. Murals will trigger cutscenes, which are story segments.
  11. In the middle of the area, one side has Spektos, the other has Gargostas.
  12. If you have 'A Guiding Gift', the two other Polar Stones can be found in the Labyrinthine Path.
Tips
  • The Manjula is weak to both Strike and Ice.
  • Be mindful of enemy attacks that can poison and paralyze.
  • It's generally best to avoid the Gold Elmenta if possible due to surrounding enemies.
  • Use Fae Sight to identify hidden Spellwrought Gargostas.
  • Hugging the opposite side of a Gargosta's location can help you avoid them.
  • Scintillating Marble (x3)
  • Spirit Dust
  • Graced Water (x2)
  • Polar Stone (x3, if 'A Guiding Gift' side quest is active)
